Create a mouthwatering appetizer by merging cheesesteaks and stromboli into a quick and easy bite-sized dish.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 (21 ounce) package frozen beef sandwich steaks
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 (13.8 ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough (such as Pillsbury®)
  • 0.5 pound American cheese, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Prepare a skillet with a light coating of cooking spray over medium heat. Tear sandwich steaks into pieces by hand and place them in the skillet. Cook and stir until beautifully golden for about 5 to 7 minutes. Remove any extra grease. Add onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper, then set aside.
  • Place the pizza dough on a flat surface and gently stretch it into a 12-inch square. Spread a thin layer of beef mixture on one end, leaving a 1-inch border on the sides. Tear 4 slices of American cheese in half and place them on top. Roll the dough up, sealing the sides. Repeat the layering and rolling process with the rest of the beef mixture and cheese slices.
  • Place the top of the roll gently on the roll to cover it completely, then place it on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake until the top turns golden brown in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing into 1-inch pieces.
