Delicious cheesesteak-stuffed mushrooms in crispy phyllo shells, a perfect snack for game day or any gathering.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 cup diced fresh mushrooms
  • 0.25 cup diced onion
  • 0.25 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 6 ounces frozen thinly sliced steak (such as Steak-umm®), thawed
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 teaspoon parsley flakes
  • 2 (1.9 ounce) packages mini phyllo tart shells
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) while you elegantly arrange the phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms, onion, and bell pepper. Sauté until onion turns translucent and mushrooms soften, around 5 minutes. Stir in steak, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Combine cream cheese with fresh parsley in a large bowl. Stir in the cooked steak and vegetable mixture, then spoon the filling into the phyllo shells and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese before baking.
  • Bake until the cheese is golden brown, approximately 5 minutes in the preheated oven.
