Tasty beef and cheese pizza on Pillsbury™ classic crust ready in under an hour.
Ingredients:
  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 small green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
  • 1 medium onion, halved, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups finely shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 1/2 lb cooked roast beef (from deli), diced
  • 3 plum (Roma) tomatoes, sliced
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 425°F and grease a 12-inch pizza pan with shortening. Unroll the dough into the pan and press it out from the center to the edges, creating a 1/2-inch rim. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  • In an 8-inch skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter. Cook bell pepper and onion for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
  • Evenly scatter 1 cup of cheese over the partially baked crust. Layer with bell pepper mixture, beef, remaining 1 cup cheese, and tomato slices, ensuring the beef is fully coated with cheese.
  • Continue baking for an additional 12 to 18 minutes, or until the crust is a rich, golden brown color. Slice into wedges before serving.
