Delicious Bisquick® beef sliders with cheese, bacon, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and ketchup.
Ingredients:
  • 7 slices bacon
  • 28 fancy toothpicks
  • 28 cherry tomatoes
  • 3 leaves romaine lettuce, cut into 28 (1 1/2-inch) pieces
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 oz Cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4-inch cubes (about 1/2 cup)
Instructions:
  • Cook the bacon in a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally, until browned but still slightly chewy. Transfer bacon to paper towels to drain, reserving 1 tablespoon of drippings. Cut each slice of bacon into 4 pieces.
  • Skewer 1 tomato half, 1 bacon piece, and 1 lettuce piece on each toothpick; then set aside.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, except for the cheese. Gently fold in the cheese. Shape tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture into meatballs and lightly flatten them to form mini hamburgers.
  • In the same skillet, heat up the flavorful bacon drippings over medium-high heat. Sear the burgers for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until they are fully cooked. Insert one toothpick into each burger and serve promptly.
