Cheesy, mustard-filled hot dogs wrapped in crispy bacon and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
  • 4 hot dogs, butterflied
  • 2 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced into 8 matchsticks
  • 4 strips thick-cut bacon
  • 8 toothpicks
  • 4 hot dog buns, split
  • 1 large (5 inch) dill pickle, sliced into 8 long strips
Instructions:
  • Prepare all your ingredients and then heat up the grill to medium heat, ensuring you lightly oil the grate.
  • Spread a touch of zesty mustard inside each butterflied hot dog, then tuck in 2 delectable Cheddar cheese matchsticks.
  • Securely attach one end of a bacon strip to one end of a hot dog using a toothpick. Wrap the bacon strip snugly around the entire hot dog, then secure the other end with another toothpick. Repeat for the rest of the hot dogs.
  • Grill the hot dogs and bacon until hot and fully cooked, about 4 to 5 minutes per side on a preheated grill.
  • Assemble each hot dog on a bun and garnish with 2 pickle slices.
