Ultimate cheese grits - a party hit! Best ever tasted!
Ingredients:
  • 1 quart milk
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup uncooked grits
  • 0.5 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and gently grease a medium baking dish.
  • In a pot over medium heat, bring the milk to a boil. Add 1/2 cup of butter to the boiling milk. Slowly whisk in the grits and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper, then whisk or use an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in the Cheddar cheese and 1/3 cup of butter. Transfer everything to a baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before baking.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour until set.
