Chicken Philly cheesesteak: A delicious twist on the classic with all your favorite flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 package (20 oz) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
  • 1 package (8 oz) sliced baby portabella mushrooms
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 box Hamburger Helper™ Philly cheesesteak
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and provolone cheese blend (4 oz)
Instructions:
  • Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender and chicken is cooked through.
  • Pour in creamy milk, steaming hot water, and the flavorful sauce mix from the Hamburger Helper™ box. Mix everything together until well combined. Add in the uncooked pasta from the Hamburger Helper™ box and a sprinkle of pepper flakes. Bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally. Lower the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 9 to 11 minutes until the pasta is perfectly cooked and the sauce is rich and thick. Take it off the heat and get ready to enjoy a delicious meal!
  • Sprinkle with cheese and cover, allowing it to stand for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is melted. Finish by sprinkling with the topping provided in the Hamburger Helper™ box.
