Cheesy corn casserole: A delicious blend of corn, sour cream, egg, cornbread mix, onion, and Cheddar cheese - a flavorful side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (11 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (11 ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 1 (8.5 ounce) package dry corn bread mix
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 large egg
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, mix together whole corn, cream-style corn, dry cornbread mix, sour cream, 3/4 cup Cheddar cheese, onion, and egg until fully combined. Transfer the mixture into the prepared dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of Cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
