Thanksgiving side: Green bean casserole with 2 cheeses, made with frozen green beans.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 1 (2.8 ounce) can French fried onions
  • 2 (16 ounce) packages frozen French cut green beans
  • 0.5 pound processed cheese food (eg. Velveeta), sliced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and generously grease a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine the condensed soup, Cheddar cheese, milk, and half of the onions in a large bowl, stirring until fully incorporated.
  • Create a luscious green bean casserole by starting with a layer of half the green beans, followed by half of the creamy soup mixture and half of the indulgent processed cheese. Repeat the layers once more before finishing it off with the remaining crispy onions on top.
  • Bake casserole in the oven until hot and bubbly, for 30-40 minutes.
