Get the kids cooking these delicious scrolls for school lunches.
Ingredients:
  • 2 sheets frozen ready-rolled puff pastry, thawed
  • 60.00 ml pizza sauce
  • 100g sliced ham, chopped
  • 65g cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
Instructions:
  • Evenly coat the pastry with pizza sauce, ensuring to leave a 2cm border along the edges. Sprinkle the ham and cheese on top.
  • Brush the pastry's edge with the egg wash. Roll up the pastry tightly from one side to fully enclose the filling. Wrap each roll in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • - Preheat your oven to 200°C and prepare two baking trays with non-stick baking paper. - Brush the two rolls with egg, then slice each roll into 10 pieces. - Arrange the slices cut-side up on the lined trays. - Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they turn golden brown. - Enjoy these delicious rolls warm or cold as a perfect lunch box snack.
