Indulge in a fork-friendly, loaded sandwich bursting with classic burger ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 2 to 3 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. In a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook beef with chili powder for 6 to 8 minutes until fully cooked; remember to stir occasionally. Drain the meat and set it aside.
  • Combine sour cream, mayo, cheese, and onion in a small bowl; set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix Bisquick and cold water until a soft dough forms. Press dough into the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of the pan using Bisquick-dusted fingers. Layer beef, tomatoes, and bell pepper over the dough. Spoon the sour cream mixture over the top and spread evenly to cover the vegetables.
  • Bake without cover for 25-30 minutes until the dough edges turn light brown.
