Fluffy gluten-free chestnut waffles, tasty and ideal for autumn breakfasts.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup chestnut flour
  • 3 tablespoons white rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon potato starch
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions:
  • Heat up the waffle iron as per the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Combine chestnut flour, white rice flour, potato starch, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together milk, egg yolk, vegetable oil, and honey. Gradually add the flour mixture while whisking continuously to ensure a smooth batter.
  • Whisk egg white in a glass, metal, or ceramic bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into batter until evenly incorporated.
  • Pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown according to the manufacturer's instructions, usually 3 to 5 minutes.
