Roast turkey giblets for the richest gravy using 5 easy flavor boosters. Thickened with chestnuts for amazing taste, finished with festive port - the ultimate Christmas gravy!
Ingredients:
  • higher-welfare turkey giblets and sticky bits from your cooked turkey
  • 100 ml port optional
  • 200 g vac-packed or tinned chestnuts
  • 2 tablespoons onion marmalade optional
  • 1 litre organic chicken stock
Instructions:
  • Remove most of the fat from the surface of the turkey tray, leaving behind the flavorful drippings. Place the tray over high heat and bring to a boil. Add port and let it cook for a few minutes, then crumble in the chestnuts. Scrape up any sticky bits from the tray, then add stock and marmalade if desired, and mix well. Pour in 500ml boiling water, bring back to a boil, then simmer on low for 20 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Strain the gravy through a sieve into a pan, pushing out the goodness with a spoon. Mix in turkey juices, keep warm until serving.
