Delicious chocolate chip oatmeal cookies with the perfect crispy-chewy texture, made in a breeze.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for baking.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gently incorporate the flour mixture into the egg mixture until combined. Fold in quick oats, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Spoon heaping portions of batter onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • After baking in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
