Satisfying Alfredo pizza with chicken pleases even non-chicken enthusiasts.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch dried rosemary
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  • 0.75 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 1 (.25 ounce) package instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 boneless chicken breast halves, roasted
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.25 teaspoon poultry seasoning
Instructions:
  • Prepare the irresistible garlic butter by gently melting butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Incorporate the aromatic garlic, rosemary, and salt, cooking and stirring until the garlic is tender without browning. Once ready, remove from heat, cover, and set aside for later use.
  • Create a decadent sauce by melting butter in a saucepan and blending in flour, salt, and pepper. Add milk and Romano cheese, then simmer until luxuriously thick. Cover and set aside for the perfect finishing touch.
  • Combine yeast with warm water and allow it to foam. In a large bowl, mix oil, sugar, salt, rosemary, and garlic powder. Add the yeast mixture, then gradually mix in the flour until a smooth ball forms. Knead the dough until smooth, cover with a dish towel, and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 400°F (200°C).
  • Season a succulent roasted chicken with aromatic rosemary, thyme, poultry seasoning, garlic powder, and a perfect pinch of salt. Chop or shred the seasoned chicken and set it aside for a tantalizing meal.
  • Prepare the pizza: Lay the dough on a pizza pan. Brush with garlic butter, ensuring the whole crust is covered. Add sauce, leaving edges bare. Top with chicken, making sure it's coated with sauce.
  • Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake until the bottom crust is golden brown, approximately 20 minutes. Let it rest for 2 to 3 minutes before slicing.
