Cheesy chicken-filled crescent rolls baked to golden perfection in a savory sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (10.5 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2.5 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 (4 pound) whole chicken, cooked and deboned
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine condensed soup, milk, and 1/2 cup of cheese in a large saucepan. Stir occasionally over low heat until heated through.
  • Separate crescent rolls into triangles and fill each with chicken and cheese, then roll them up. Arrange in a 9x13-inch baking dish and pour half of the condensed soup mixture around the rolls, not on top of them.
  • Place the rolls in the preheated oven and bake until they slightly rise and turn a golden brown, which should take about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Transfer the rest of the soup mixture into the baking dish. Arrange any leftover chicken on top and generously sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is gooey and melted.
