Try this easy Cordon Bleu casserole with cubed chicken breasts, Swiss cheese, and ham for a delicious twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into chunks
  • 1 cup plain dried bread crumbs
  • 1 cup oil for frying
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese, cubed
  • 8 ounces cubed ham
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, whisk together an egg and 1/2 cup of milk until well combined. Add chicken chunks and mix to coat, then coat with bread crumbs. Heat oil in a large skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Fry breaded chicken cubes in hot oil until golden brown all over. Drain on paper towels before serving.
  • Place the chicken cubes in a glass baking dish, layer with Swiss cheese and ham. Combine the soup with 1 cup of milk, then pour over the casserole.
  • Bake until deliciously golden and bubbling, approximately 30 minutes in a preheated oven.
