Make restaurant-style Italian dinner at home with Chicken Helper® and rotisserie chicken!
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon margarine or butter
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 box Chicken Helper™ fettuccine Alfredo
  • 3 cups cubed deli rotisserie chicken (from 2- to 2 1/2-lb chicken)
  • 1 cup frozen sweet peas
Instructions:
  • Cook the bacon in a 12-inch skillet until crispy. Place the cooked bacon on paper towels to drain. Save 1 tablespoon of the bacon drippings in the skillet. Add margarine to the skillet with the drippings and heat over medium-high heat until the margarine is melted.
  • Combine hot water, milk, sauce mix, and uncooked pasta from the Chicken Helper box in a pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the chicken and frozen peas, cover, and continue to simmer for 4 to 6 more minutes or until the pasta is tender. Take it off the heat, uncover, and mix in the bacon (the sauce will thicken as it sits).
