Elevate classic snacks with a sesame seed batter twist.
Ingredients:
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups corn oil
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
  • Wash the chicken under cold water and gently dry it with paper towels before cutting into 1-inch cubes.
  • Fill a deep fryer with corn oil, making sure not to exceed one-third full. Heat the oil over medium heat.
  • In a small bowl, combine the egg and water, mixing thoroughly. Add the flour, sesame seeds, and salt, and stir until a smooth batter forms.
  • Coat chicken pieces in batter, allowing any extra to drip off. Carefully add a few battered chicken pieces into the hot oil. Fry until golden and cooked through, approximately 4 minutes (check doneness by removing chicken from oil). Place on paper towels to drain.
