Try this flavorful Greek-style chicken dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 5.00 gm sweet paprika
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) olive oil
  • 600g chicken breast fillets, cut into 4cm pieces
  • 1 large brown onion, halved, thickly sliced
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) Mutti Tomato Passata
  • 4 rounds pita bread
  • 750.00 ml baby spinach leaves
  • 120g (1/2 cup) bought garlic dip, to serve
Instructions:
  • Mix vinegar, oregano, garlic, half of the paprika, and one-third of the oil in a bowl. Add chicken and onion, then stir until well coated.
  • Mix the passata and the rest of the paprika in a bowl.
  • Preheat a barbecue grill or chargrill to medium-high heat. Grill the chicken and onion, flipping once, for 5 minutes or until fully cooked. Transfer to a plate and cover with foil to stay warm.
  • Preheat the grill on high. Cut the bread into wedges and place them on a baking tray. Drizzle the remaining oil over the bread. Grill for 2 minutes or until toasted. Spread the passata mixture over the bread.
  • Plate the spinach, bread, chicken, and onion on individual serving plates and accompany with the flavorful garlic dip.
