Try these savory, portable chili dog hand pies for a neater twist on a classic favorite – all the deliciousness of chili dogs wrapped in convenient dough pockets.
Ingredients:
  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 (16 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (15 ounce) can prepared chili
  • 4 hot dogs, sliced into bite-sized pieces
  • 0.5 medium onion, diced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) while preparing a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Cut the pie crusts in half. Place half a crust on a cutting board and layer with equal parts Cheddar cheese, chili, hot dog pieces, and onion. Fold over the crust, seal the edges, and transfer to the baking sheet. Repeat for the remaining crusts. Make small cuts on top of each pie to release steam.
  • Bake pies in the hot oven until they turn golden brown, around 15 to 20 minutes. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
