Fruit-infused sauce enhances succulent pork ribs.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup hoisin sauce
  • 0.25 cup jellied cranberry sauce
  • 3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
  • 4 pounds pork spareribs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 cups water
Instructions:
  • Combine hoisin sauce, cranberry sauce, soy sauce, white wine, honey, and red food coloring in a large bowl. Stir in garlic salt and Chinese five-spice powder. Add ribs to the mixture, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fill the bottom of a large roasting pan with water. Place the ribs on the pan rack and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then, pour the rest of the sauce mixture on top and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
