Flavorful Asian green beans, perfect for a crowd or a cozy family meal, can be enjoyed hot or cold.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 13 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 5 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 5 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
  • 2 (8 ounce) bottles black bean sauce
Instructions:
  • Heat oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Add green beans and cook, stirring often, for 1 to 2 minutes. Mix in garlic and ginger, and cook, stirring often, for 3 to 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then add black bean sauce. Cook until green beans are tender.
