Chocolate and vanilla marble cake

Marble cake has decadent layers of chocolate and vanilla swirled together for the perfect bite every time.
Ingredients:
  • 150g butter
  • 220g caster sugar
  • 2 eggs and
  • 4.40 gm vanilla essence
  • 375g self-raising flour
  • 250ml milk
  • 10.00 gm cocoa powder
  • 150g icing sugar
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder, extra
  • 20g butter, chopped, extra
  • 40.00 gm boiling water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a 22cm fluted ring bundt pan. Cream together butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla essence.
  • Gently mix in self-raising flour and milk. Divide the mixture in half. Add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder to one half. Spoon the mixtures into the pan in alternating layers.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden. Let it cool for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Mix icing sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, and 20g chopped butter. Add boiling water and stir well. Drizzle over the cake before serving.
