Indulge in irresistible chocolate banoffee pie - a must-try sensation!
Ingredients:
  • 250g dark chocolate digestive biscuits
  • 180g unsalted butter
  • 10.00 gm Dutch cocoa powder, plus extra to dust
  • 100g brown sugar
  • 395g can condensed milk
  • 75g dark chocolate, melted
  • 26.80 gm golden syrup
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 2 small bananas, sliced
Instructions:
  • Pulse biscuits in a food processor until finely crumbed. Melt 80g of butter and mix it with the crumbs and cocoa. Blend until combined. Press the mixture into six 10cm loose-bottomed tart pans and refrigerate for 20 minutes until firm.
  • In a pan over low heat, melt butter with sugar. Stir until smooth. Add condensed milk and cook gently for 5 minutes until you have a creamy, golden caramel. Remove from heat, mix in chocolate and golden syrup. Fill tart shells evenly, cool in the fridge for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  • Whisk cream until soft peaks form. To serve, place tarts on plates, layer with sliced banana and whipped cream, and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
