Decadent no-bake candy filled with cookie dough chunks and chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup margarine, melted
  • 0.66666668653488 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (16 ounce) package confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips, melted
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 9x9 inch baking dish by lining it with aluminum foil.
  • Combine melted margarine, brown sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix in the flour until dough forms. Knead in 1/4 cup of chocolate chips. Shape the dough into a 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick disk. Place the dough on a sheet of plastic wrap and use your hands to shape it into a square.
  • Chill the square dough in the freezer for 10 minutes until firm. Then, cut it into 1/2 inch squares and refrigerate while preparing the cream cheese fudge.
  • Combine the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar in a bowl until silky smooth, then fold in the melted chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
  • Gently incorporate the cookie dough pieces, then spread the candy mixture in the dish. Chill for at least 1 hour until firm. Unmold the candy from the lined dish, cut into squares, and enjoy.
