Chocolate Chip Cookie Hearts (Cookie Mix)

Heart-shaped cookies made easy with pre-made mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 stick margarine or butter, softened (1/4 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut foil to perfectly fit an 8-inch square pan, then line the pan with the foil, ensuring the bottom and sides are all covered.
  • Combine margarine and water in a medium bowl, then blend in cookie mix until a soft dough forms. Press the dough into a pan lined with foil.
  • Bake for 25-28 minutes until lightly golden. Remove foil and cookies from pan and transfer to a board. Use a 2-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out cookies, keeping the shapes as close as possible. Let cookies cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to cool completely for about 30 minutes. Enjoy any leftover cookie scraps as a snack.
