Ingredients:
  • 125g butter, at room temperature
  • 200g (1 cup, firmly packed) soft brown sugar
  • 300g (2 cups) plain flour
  • 4.00 gm baking powder
  • 200g (1 cup) milk chocolate bits
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  • Cream together butter and brown sugar using an electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  • Combine the plain flour and baking powder, then incorporate into the butter mixture. Add in the milk chocolate bits and stir well.
  • Scoop spoonfuls of mixture and form them into balls, then space them 15cm apart on baking trays lined with non-stick paper. Gently press down on the balls to create 7cm-wide disks that are 5-8 mm thick.
  • Bake at the specified temperature for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Then, let it cool on trays before transferring to an airtight container for storage.
