Indulge in a decadent chocolate cookie pizza with a homemade crust, rich chocolate sauce, and a variety of sweet toppings like candy, coconut, and pecans. Make it your own with extra treats or keep it simple for a delicious dessert twist on pizza night!
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 bag (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves
  • 1/2 cup M&M's® chocolate candies
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut, toasted, if desired
  • 2 oz white chocolate baking bars (from 6-oz package), melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Combine 1/2 cup of butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and an egg in a large bowl until thoroughly mixed. Add flour and baking soda to the mixture; the dough will have a stiff consistency.
  • Press dough into a 12-inch pizza pan or shape into a 12-inch round on a non-greased cookie sheet. Bake for approximately 15 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for about 30 minutes.
  • In a 2-quart saucepan, gently melt chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons of butter, and milk over low heat, stirring occasionally until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in powdered sugar. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is smooth and glossy. If needed, add a few drops of hot water for extra shine.
  • Spread the luscious chocolate mixture over the baked layer, then swiftly sprinkle with pecans, candies, and coconut while giving a gentle press. Drizzle with the melted baking bars for an extra indulgent touch. Allow it to set before optionally removing from the pan and cutting into tempting wedges.
