Chocolate Covered Berry Cupcakes

Indulge in decadent chocolate strawberry cupcakes made with Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ strawberry cake mix for a delightful treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Strawberry Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • 1 bag (12 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 24 fresh small whole strawberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Prepare and bake the cake mix as instructed on the box to make delicious cupcakes, utilizing water, oil, and eggs. Allow the cupcakes to cool for 10 minutes, then gently transfer them from the pans to cooling racks. Let them cool completely before enjoying.
  • Place the chocolate chips in a medium bowl. In a 2-cup microwavable measuring cup, microwave the whipping cream uncovered on High for 1 minute or until hot. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
  • Set aside 1 cup of the chocolate mixture for dipping the strawberries. Use the rest of the chocolate mixture to frost the cupcakes. Dip the strawberries, one at a time, halfway into the remaining chocolate mixture. Garnish each cupcake with a dipped strawberry.
