Indulgent berry tarts made with Betty Crocker® double chocolate chunk cookie mix for a irresistible fruit dessert option.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/3 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/2 cup Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup from 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Strawberry Mist™ Frosting
  • 3 tablespoons miniature semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line 36 mini muffin cups with miniature paper baking cups.
  • Combine cookie mix, oil, egg, and water in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Spoon teaspoonfuls of dough into baking cups.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are set. Use the end of a wooden spoon to gently flatten the bottoms and sides of the baking cups, being careful not to create holes. Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes before moving on.
  • Fill each cookie cup with a generous 1/2 teaspoon of jam.
  • Combine whipped topping with frosting in a medium bowl until fully mixed. Transfer the frosting blend into a decorating bag with a medium star tip. Squeeze it into the center of each tart and finish by sprinkling with chocolate chips. Keep loosely covered for storage.
