Create a mouthwatering dish by following this user-inspired recipe. Note: not tested by taste.com.au team.
Ingredients:
  • 500g milk chocolate
  • 100g 100s and 1000s
Instructions:
  • Prepare patty pans on a tray. Fill a small container with a generous amount of sprinkles and have a teaspoon handy.
  • Place the chocolate into a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir the melted chocolate until smooth.
  • Continue to microwave on high for an additional 30 seconds. Check the consistency of the chocolate, as the melting time can vary based on microwave strength. If needed, microwave in 15-second intervals until the chocolate is fully melted.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into patty pans, making sure the bottom is fully covered and the freckle layer is about 4mm thick. Feel free to make it thicker to suit your preference.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of colorful 100s and 1000s over the chocolate in each pan until well covered, allowing any excess to fall off when removing from the pans.
  • Place the tray containing the 18 freckles in the refrigerator to allow them to set.
  • After chilling for 30-60 minutes, remove the treats from the fridge. Gently peel off the paper liners and discard any excess sprinkles. It's best to do this over the kitchen sink to prevent a mess.
  • Arrange the dish on a plate and savor every bite!
