Chocolate Malt Pretzel Bars

Decadent bar cookies with a salty pretzel crust and rich chocolate malt topping.
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate-covered malted milk balls (5 oz), coarsely crushed
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips (6 oz)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and generously coat a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray.
  • Combine crushed pretzels with melted butter and sugar in a large bowl until fully incorporated. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle crushed malted milk balls, chocolate chips, and pecans over the pretzel crust. Evenly drizzle condensed milk over the top.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until beautifully golden. Allow to cool fully in the pan on a cooling rack for approximately 1 hour. Cut into 3 rows by 3 rows.
