Chocolate Peanut Butter Heart Cookies

Indulge in a heavenly chocolate peanut butter treat that will make your taste buds sing.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ peanut butter cookie mix
  • Oil, water and egg called for on cookie mix pouch
  • 5 tablespoons coarse white sparkling sugar
  • 36 Reese's peanut butter filled hearts, unwrapped
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine cookie mix, oil, water, and egg in a medium bowl and mix until dough forms.
  • Put the sugar in a small bowl. Make 36 (1-inch) dough balls, then coat them in sugar. Place the balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake until light golden brown, around 8 to 10 minutes. Let them cool on the cookie sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to cooling racks. After 5 more minutes, gently press a heart onto the top of each cookie. Let them cool completely before storing in a sealed container.
