Quick and easy microwave chocolate pie, ready in 7 minutes. Top with whipped cream and chocolate curls for a decadent treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crust, baked
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, mix together sugar, flour, and cocoa powder until combined. Gradually pour in the milk while stirring until smooth.
  • Heat the cocoa mixture in the microwave for 1 minute, stirring well each time, until the mixture thickens, about 7 minutes in total.
  • Gradually stream egg yolks into the cocoa mixture while vigorously whisking until well combined. Add vanilla extract and butter/margarine. Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie shell. Refrigerate until set. Keep stored in the refrigerator.
