Skip traditional pie crust - try easy cereal crust for a quick and delicious twist!
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Multi-Bran Chex™ cereal
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 box (4-serving size) chocolate pudding and pie filling mix (not instant)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Add cereal to a resealable plastic bag, seal it, and crush with a rolling pin.
  • Combine butter and peanut butter in a 9-inch ungreased microwavable pie plate. Microwave on High for 30 seconds, then stir until well combined. Add crushed cereal and mix until evenly coated. Press the mixture evenly onto the bottom and up the sides of the pie plate. Bake for 10 minutes, then transfer to the freezer.
  • Prepare the pudding mix according to the package instructions for pie filling. After cooling for 5 minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons of peanut butter from the 1/4 cup. Stir gently until the peanut butter is melted and marbled throughout. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  • Microwave the remaining 2 tablespoons of peanut butter in a microwavable measuring cup uncovered on High for 30 seconds. Drizzle the warm peanut butter over the pie. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, but no more than 24 hours, until the filling sets.
