Delicious fall cake combining chocolate, pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and chocolate chips for a perfect seasonal treat.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 10x15-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth. Stir in pumpkin until well combined.
  • Combine flour, cocoa, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture until just combined. Mix in chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the oven until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the center, about 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
