Indulgent double chocolate brownies with added oats for a rich and satisfying treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.66666668653488 cup oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Combine butter and unsweetened chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring regularly. Ensure to scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula to prevent scorching. Once melted, transfer the chocolate mixture into a bowl.
  • Blend sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract with chocolate using a fork. Incorporate flour and salt into chocolate mixture until batter is smooth; gently mix in chocolate chips, walnuts, and oats. Transfer batter into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the edges are pulling away and the center is cooked through. Allow them to cool before slicing.
