Delightful Christmas fudge pops with chocolate, marshmallows - a festive treat for all!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • Dash salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup white nonpareils
  • 22 paper lollipop sticks
  • 1/3 cup white vanilla baking chips
  • 1 teaspoon shortening
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 11x7-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish or 9-inch square pan by lining it with foil, ensuring that the foil extends 1 inch over 2 opposite sides of the pan. Grease the foil with butter.
  • In a 3-quart heavy saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, marshmallows, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat while stirring constantly. Boil for 5 minutes, continuing to stir. Reduce heat to low. Mix in chocolate chips and vanilla until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a pan and sprinkle with nonpareils. Let it cool for about 1 hour.
  • Lift the fudge out of the pan using foil. Using a 2-inch Christmas tree-shaped cookie cutter, cut out the fudge shapes. Place a stick at the bottom of each cutout. In a small microwavable bowl, microwave the vanilla chips and shortening on Medium (50%) for 30 to 45 seconds. Stir until smooth. Drizzle the mixture over the plain side of the fudge and let it set.
