Elevate Christmas cookies with a simple Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix pie, topping it with your favorite festive candies.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup red, green and white candy sprinkles
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 to 4 teaspoons milk
  • Assorted holiday candies
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F and generously coat the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray.
  • Combine the cookie mix, 1/2 cup softened butter, and egg in a large bowl, stirring until a soft dough forms. Mix in the candy sprinkles, then press the dough into the bottom of a pie plate.
  • Bake for 33 to 38 minutes until the center is set and the edges are golden brown. If necessary, protect the edges with foil to prevent them from browning too much. Allow the cookie to cool completely for about 1 1/2 hours.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer on low speed to beat together powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons of softened butter, vanilla, and 3 teaspoons of milk until creamy and smooth. Add more milk if needed to achieve desired spreading consistency.
  • Cover the cookie pie with a generous layer of frosting. Add a variety of festive candies on top as decoration. Cut into wedges before serving.
