Create festive holiday tree cookies using Betty Crocker™ sugar cookie mix and vanilla frosting topped with candy sprinkles. A fun baking project for all!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for drop cookies
  • 3/4 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting (from 1-lb container)
  • Betty Crocker™ holiday candy sprinkles, if desired
  • Powdered sugar, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Follow the instructions on the cookie dough pouch to prepare the dough. Create 3 balls measuring 1/4 cup each (2 inches in diameter) and another 3 balls using 3 level tablespoons of dough for each (1 7/8 inches in diameter). Place all 6 balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are light brown. Let cool for 3 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  • Form 3 balls measuring 1 3/4 inches in diameter, using 2 tablespoons of dough for each ball. Then, shape 3 more balls measuring 1 1/2 inches in diameter, using a rounded tablespoon of dough for each ball. Arrange all 6 balls on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 9 to 11 minutes until the edges turn light brown. Let them cool for 2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  • Shape the remaining dough into 3 balls each of 1 1/4-inch, 1-inch, 3/4-inch, and 1/2-inch diameters. Place them on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the edges turn lightly brown. Allow them to cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheet, then transfer to a cooling rack. Let the cookies cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Create a stack of 8 different-sized cookies for each tree. Start assembling 3 trees by placing the largest cookie at the bottom, followed by each smaller cookie on top, spreading frosting between each layer. Heat the leftover frosting in a microwave-safe bowl on High for 10 to 15 seconds until smooth. Drizzle the melted frosting over the trees, add sprinkles for decoration, and dust powdered sugar on the platter to mimic snow.
