Energize your morning with my aromatic citrus bircher muesli.
Ingredients:
  • 100.00 gm organic oats
  • 250ml (1 cup) milk of choice or filtered water
  • 20.00 ml finely grated orange zest
  • 21.00 gm freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 125.00 ml raw almonds, roughly chopped
  • 5.20 gm shredded coconut
  • 1 small pear, grated
  • 40.00 ml Greek-style yoghurt
  • 2.50 gm ground cinnamon, plus extra, to serve (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • Maple syrup or raw honey, to serve
  • Fresh full-fat ricotta, to serve
  • Blueberries or fresh dates, to serve
Instructions:
  • Allow the oats to luxuriate in a bath of milk or water overnight, ensuring they are fully submerged.
  • Mix oats, orange zest, juice, almonds, coconut, pear, yoghurt, cinnamon, and cardamom in a bowl until thick and smooth.
  • To enhance, generously drizzle with maple syrup or honey, then top with creamy ricotta, fresh blueberries, or torn dates. For added flavor, dust lightly with cinnamon.
