Spiced cranberry punch: Refreshing with a twist. Perfect for welcoming guests.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup red cinnamon candies
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 can (46 oz) pineapple juice, chilled
  • 1 bottle (2 liter) cranberry flavored lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) cranberries
  • Cinnamon sticks, if desired
Instructions:
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, combine water, candies, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring continuously. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer uncovered until candies are completely dissolved, stirring often. Allow the mixture to cool for about 30 minutes. Refrigerate, if preferred.
  • Combine the syrup mixture and pineapple juice in a punch bowl. Right before serving, gently stir in the carbonated beverage. Serve over ice and decorate with cranberries and cinnamon sticks for a festive touch.
