Create creamy cinnamon ice cream using your ice cream maker for a delightful dessert, perfect alone or as a milkshake base.
Ingredients:
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.5 cups half-and-half cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Beat the eggs in a bowl.
  • Combine the half-and-half and sugar in a saucepan over gentle heat, stirring until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat.
  • Gradually add half of the hot mixture to the eggs while whisking briskly to prevent curdling. Pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan and stir in the heavy cream. Cook over medium-low heat, whisking continuously until the mixture thickens enough to coat a metal spoon. Remove from heat, then whisk in cinnamon and vanilla. Allow to cool for about 30 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze for approximately 20 minutes following the manufacturer's guidelines. Once done, move it to an airtight container and freeze until solid, for about 4 hours.
