Cinnamon Roll Monkey Bread

Indulgent cinnamon roll monkey bread baked in a Bundt® pan, topped with homemade icing, ideal for parties.
Ingredients:
  • butter-flavored nonstick cooking spray
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 (12.4 ounce) packages refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing (such as Pillsbury® Grands!®)
  • 0.75 cup chopped pecans
  • 1.25 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature, divided
  • 0.5 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 0.25 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage (such as 7-Up®)
  • 0.25 cup rolled oats
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and generously coat a Bundt® pan with butter-flavored cooking spray.
  • Combine the white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  • Unwrap the chilled cinnamon rolls. Separate them into individual portions, then slice each portion into quarters using a pizza or dough cutter.
  • Coat each pack of sliced cinnamon rolls in the sugar mix, ensuring they're well-covered and spaced out. Keep any leftover sugar mix.
  • Alternate arranging the sugar-coated cinnamon roll pieces and pecans in the prepared pan, finishing with a layer of pecans on top.
  • In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt 3/4 cup of butter with the remaining sugar mixture until it comes to a gentle boil. Drizzle the warm butter mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  • Bake in the oven until the top is crispy, approximately 40 minutes. Then, let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Once the mixture is cooling, combine confectioners' sugar, lemon-lime beverage, oats, and the remaining 1/2 cup of room temperature butter to make the icing.
  • Gently release the bread from the Bundt® pan and generously drizzle the icing over it.
