Delight your guests with addictive macadamia nut snack while watching the game with friends.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggwhites
  • pinch sea salt
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 215.00 gm demerara sugar
  • 10.00 gm ground cinnamon
  • 580g macadamia
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160°C and line a large roasting pan with baking paper.
  • With an electric mixer, whisk egg whites and salt in a bowl until frothy with large air bubbles. Gradually add caster sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while constantly beating until fully incorporated.
  • Combine the demerara sugar and cinnamon with the egg whites, then toss in the macadamia nuts ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Evenly spread the mixture in the pan. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes with a metal spoon until the cinnamon sugar crust is dry.
  • Allow the mixture to cool entirely in the pan before breaking it up and transferring it to an airtight container.
