Elevate classic French toast with whole-grain bread, creamy soymilk, and light egg substitute for a healthier twist!
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup fat-free egg product
  • 3/4 cup vanilla soymilk
  • 8 slices whole-grain cinnamon-raisin swirl bread
  • Syrup or fresh fruit, if desired
Instructions:
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together egg product, soymilk, and vanilla until creamy; transfer to a shallow bowl.
  • Prepare the griddle or skillet by spraying with cooking spray and heating to 375°F or over medium heat. Dunk bread into the egg mixture until well soaked. Place on the griddle and cook each side for about 4 minutes until golden brown. Serve with syrup.
