Elevate grilled fish with a zesty glaze of marmalade, lemon juice, and basil.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • 4 (6-oz.) salmon fillets
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic-pepper blend
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat grill. In a small bowl, mix marmalade, lemon juice, and basil thoroughly. Spray the skin side of the salmon with nonstick cooking spray. Flip the salmon and season with garlic-pepper blend and salt.
  • Once the grill is hot, gently place the salmon skin side down on a gas or charcoal grill over medium-low heat, approximately 4 to 6 inches from the coals. Cook for 12 to 17 minutes until the fish easily flakes with a fork, while brushing with the marmalade mixture during the final 8 to 10 minutes of cooking.
