Savory deviled eggs - a classic appetizer with perfectly seasoned yolks in just two bites. Great for holidays, parties, or as a healthier option. Originating from Roman times, they're a popular choice at gatherings.
Ingredients:
  • 6 hard-cooked eggs, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • Paprika, if desired
Instructions:
  • Halve the eggs lengthwise and remove yolks, then mash them with a fork.
  • Combine mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. Spoon egg yolk mixture generously into egg whites. Optional: add a sprinkle of paprika. Chill covered in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
