Classic turkey club sandwich

Upgrade your club sandwich with shaved turkey breast for an extra tasty twist.
Ingredients:
  • 6 rashers short-cut bacon
  • 6 slices multigrain bread
  • 61.88 gm whole-egg mayonnaise
  • 4 small iceberg lettuce leaves, halved
  • 125g shaved turkey breast
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • french fries, to serve
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat a spacious non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Cook bacon, turning occasionally, for 4 to 5 minutes until crispy. Place on paper towel to drain excess oil.
  • Begin by toasting 2 slices of bread until golden brown. Arrange the slices on a cutting board. Spread half of the mayonnaise over each slice, then layer on half of the lettuce. Add the turkey and another slice of bread on top. Spread the top slice with mayonnaise. Layer on the bacon, tomato, and remaining lettuce. Spread one side of the last slice of bread with the remaining mayonnaise. Place it, mayonnaise side down, on the sandwiches. Secure the sandwiches with toothpicks, slice in half, and serve with fries.
